Mon. May 7th: KENTUCKY: CREATION MUSEUM

The next morning we went back to the Creation Museum and went straight into the museum exhibits.  The theme of the museum is the 7 C’s. . . . Creation, Corruption, Catastrophe, Confusion, Christ, Cross, and Consummation.  It was absolutely incredible!

The Creation part was, of course, about the creation of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden.
The Corruption was about the fall of Adam and Eve eating from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, and all the corruption throughout the Bible.  The Catastrophe was about Noah building the ark and the flood that took place.  There was a large replica of part of the ark which represented 1% of one side of the ark – hard to believe that it was that big.  But it had to be to fit all the animals.
Confusion was when God confused all the languages at the Tower of Babel and how that has created differences of people, cultures, languages, and religions all over the world.
The last three C’s – Christ, Cross, and Consummation - was presented in a very powerful movie at the end of the exhibits.  It was about Christ, the promise of God’s word, that God become a man and walked amongst us.  The Cross it the answer of God’s word that Jesus would die on the cross.  And Consummation is the fulfillment of God’s word that one day the Creator will reunite with his Creation.   It was awesome and made me cry!!
All day long the Creation Museum has special classes are avaliable with the purchase of our ticket.  Today they had a special music session with musician named Buddy who travels all over speaking about creation science and writing & singing songs, especially for kids.  He was really good and the kids loved him.

Next we went back out to the petting zoo so the kids could ride the camel.  They had a blast riding him even though it was quick and only around one circle!!
Then we went to feed the all the petting zoo animals which were adorable!!  They came right to the girls when they had food in their hand.

The last thing we did at the Creation Museum was go to the Planetarium.  It was amazing and so refreshing to hear the Biblical perspective instead of the millions of years ago garbage that is heard everywhere else.  It was so fascinating to listen to the perspective of the solar system through the eyes of the Creator.  I am totally filled up with God’s word and will never feel the need to go to any other planetarium again.

On the way to Louisville, we stopped at this wonderful barbeque restaurant.   We are definitely in the south again . . . it was so yummy and the portions were huge!!  We got a family plate of chicken, pulled pork, pork ribs, brisket, corn bread, Texas toast, cheese and bacon fries, and hush puppies – if that’s not southern food, I don’t know what is!!
